Writer-in-Residence

an art residency at St. Gregory the Great
andersonville, chicago

The thriving arts community at St. Gregory the Great hosts a residency program that gives artists space to work. In addition to the artists-in-residence the community is filled with writers, visual artists and musicians. For example, the image in the banner above and the thumbnail below is a watercolor by artist Elaine Osborne. Follow the links below to meet the current and previous artists and to see what I'm doing.

Acoustic Chapel Series

In 2017 I launched a live performance series featuring musicians, poets, authors and storytellers. Most events are held in a beautiful, stone chapel with practically perfect acoustics. Follow the link below to learn about previous and future events.

Community Partnership

We will be recording interviews in collaboration with StoryCorps in Chicago.  "StoryCorps’ mission," as they say on their website, "is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world."
