Sallie Wolf's Moon Project

a collaboration between art, science and music

I brought these two incredible artists, Patrick Godon and Sallie Wolf, together, encouraged them to collaborate (nagged them until they did!), helped with fund-raising, and have since performed as the narrator for the gorgeous piece of music, Wolf's Moon, which resulted. So I am at least as proud of Wolf's Moon as of my own writing. Listen to the March 12th, 2018 WFMT Live Podcast (starts at minute 32).

Sallie Wolf

From Sallie's Website: "Sallie Wolf is an observer .... She uses her artist’s eye to translate her observations into paintings, installations, books, music, and workshops that make sense of the data. The Moon Project grew directly out of a few casual notations in her journals which developed into an artist’s obsession."

Patrick Godon

Patrick Godon is currently performing as the principal pianist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and is the founder and creative director of the celebrated International Chamber Artists, in addition to being the music director of the 80-voice Tower Chorale and was the music director at St. Gregory the Great Church (2004-2018).
